Want to help?
As always, this is a real community affair ---we will need LOTS of helpers. Each teacher has been assigned to be over finding volunteers for 1 game so if you can spare an hour or 2, please contact your child’s
teacher so they can put you down. You may also contact any of the carnival chairs.
Ticket Sales: Pre-sales will begin in front of the school before school on Wednesday, September 14 and continue each day through the morning of Monday, Sept. 19.
Silent Auction: We need baskets! If you have old baskets in your storage, please put them to good use and donate them to the carnival.
Business Sponsors: We’d like to encourage any parents who are business owners (or employees of a business) to consider supporting Orem Elementary. You can do this by:
1. donating an item from your inventory that might be used in the silent auction;
2. donating credit, coupons, or a special discount from your place of business, also to be used in the silent auction baskets;
To become a partnering business you may either write a note and return it through your student as your family’s silent auction contribution OR call Toni Carlson at 801-222-0916 or any carnival cochair
or email us. Please include the name of the business and a phone number contact in any message.
Every business that helps us out in even the smallest way will be listed on our big “Business Partners” poster with major donors ($100 or more) being listed first, will be listed in our October newsletter and
listed on our PTA blog with a reciprocal link if applicable. Being a contributor to the community is good business!

If you are willing to volunteer for an hour at the school carnival, please
send an email to Bunney at cpa@bbschmidt.com or call 801-362-5034.
We need help serving food, at the bake sale, selling tickets before and
after school as well as during the carnival. Also, check with your child’s
teacher. Each teacher needs volunteers to man their game stations
